ONE STEP CLOSER TO ETERNAL HOPE

 



We thank our Lord God Almighty for granting us another new year. For His marvellous grace that sustains us for His glory. We thank all our readers and viewers of ‘One Way to Grace.’ For all those who have been a blessing to us, especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ, who continually pray for us.

New Year is here, and, for many, it’s a time to make some resolutions. In other words, we set goals to help us accomplish things. It's good to have goals, but sometimes the emphasis then becomes about what we need to do in our own strength rather than acknowledging and relying on God's grace (God’s great mercy and unmerited favour) to help us in achieving those goals according to His will. We should rely on God in everything; whether the goal is big or small, we should entrust it to God and look up to Him, because God is sovereign, our Creator, and the source of all mankind.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3 

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7 

As we wait for the blessed hope, the joyful assurance that God has given us. We look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13 

The Lord Jesus will come again and take with Him into heaven all those who believe and trust in Him alone to be saved (Rapture). He takes away all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgement to be poured out on the earth. God will resurrect all believers who have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with all living believers, who will also be given glorified bodies at that time.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 

Time is of the essence; the return of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent. We don't want you to be left behind and be under His righteous judgment. Please examine yourselves as we enter this new year to see if you have violated the moral laws of God, the Ten Commandments.

Have you ever lied?

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish. Proverbs 19:9 

Have you taken anything that does not belong to you regardless of its value?

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.1 Corinthians 6:10 

Have you taken the name of God in vain?

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Deuteronomy 5:11 

Have you lusted after someone or had sex before marriage?

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:  But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:27,28 

Have you hated someone? (murder of the heart).

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15 

If you have answered yes to these questions, by your own admission, you're a lying, thieving, blasphemer, adulterer, and murderer at heart. That's how God sees you, and nothing is hidden from His holy eyes. If you have violated any of God's moral laws, you will be guilty on Judgement Day, and you will end up in God's eternal prison called hell.

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 
2 Thessalonians 1:8,9 

You don’t want to go to hell, we don’t want you to go there. Good news, Praise God for He is rich in mercy; God made a way (John 14:6) He provided a Saviour, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from the wrath of God through the judgement to come. When you believe, change your mind from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ alone, and what Jesus has done for you through His precious blood shed on the cross, through the death, burial, and resurrection. God will cleanse you from all sin past, present and future sins forgiven (John 19:30). God will change you inwardly (Born Again), through the Holy Spirit; your place in heaven is prepared for you. God is so gracious to you that He granted you another new year, another chance for you to come to Him; nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 
James 4:14 

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

WHAT IS THE REAL REASON FOR CHRISTMAS?

 


Throughout the world, many people celebrate Christmas, and are even carried away on the commercial side of Christmas, spending excessively on many things. Do you know the real reason for Christmas? As we draw closer to Christmas, many of you have your minds on loved ones, buying gifts, decors, parties, food, clothes, etc. Is your mind on God? Is your mind on Jesus? Are you thankful for the gift of Jesus? We should not forget the reason why Jesus Christ was born; the name Jesus means ‘God saves’ and that is what He came to do to save humanity from sin, from the wrath of God, and offer the free gift of salvation which is the greatest gift of all, eternal life! We use Christmas as a time to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and give thanks to God for giving His only begotten Son and the love, hope, joy and peace found in Jesus.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 

There are many prophecies concerning the birth of the Lord Jesus throughout the Old Testament that were and are being fulfilled in the New Testament.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11

The prophet Isaiah prophecies the birth of Christ through a virgin and promise of His coming, which was fulfilled in the New Testament.

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23 

None of us deserve the free gift of salvation, yet God gives it freely because of His great love for us. How do we receive the free gift of salvation? We have to realize that we all deserve to go to hell. We have to consider that we are sinners, someone who is not worthy and has broken the Ten Commandments, God’s moral laws. Please examine yourselves in the light of God’s word.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3

Thou shalt have no other gods before me: People commit idolatry when they create a god in their minds to suit themselves.

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Luke 12:15 

Thou shalt not covet: Excessive wantonness to want what others have is covetous.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour: If you lie, that makes you a liar.

Thou shalt not steal. Exodus 20:15 

Thou shalt not steal: If you’ve taken anything that does not belong to you, you’re a thief.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Exodus 20:7 

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: If you’ve used God’s name in vain, you’re a blasphemer.

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15 

Thou shalt not kill: If you hate someone, you’re a murderer at heart.

We have only looked at six of the Ten Commandments. If you’ve answered yes to any of these, then by your own admission you’re a lying, thieving, covetous, blasphemer, murderer, and an idolater at heart. That’s how God sees you nothing is hid from His eyes. God is holy, just, righteous and will even judge our thoughts, words and deeds. This is how serious sin to God. If you violated any of God’s laws, you will be guilty on Judgement Day. The penalty of sin is death, and you will end up in a terrible place called Hell.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31 

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 

Good news: God has made a way through His only begotten Son, Jesus (John 14:6), to escape this eternal damnation of Hell. The only way you can receive the free gift of salvation is to believe, repent from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ, be sorry for who you are and what you are, and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Saviour and the work He did on the cross of Calvary through His death, burial and resurrection. His precious blood will cleanse you from sin, and you will be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit with a new heart and a desire to do what’s righteous and pass from death unto life, Heaven. Please read the Holy Bible daily and ask God to help you obey what you read.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:8-9 

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 

This Christmas, we pray that you remember what Jesus did for us and may appreciate the greatest gift of all Salvation through the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORD’S, Jesus Christ our Saviour!

FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

 



 
There are nine fruits of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Bible-believing, born-again Christian. When we yield and are led of the Holy Spirit then these fruits are displayed and pleasing in God’s sight.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 

Love – We cannot produce the type of love God desires without the leading and strength of the Holy Spirit. This love is God’s love working in us and through us.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.1 John 4:10,11 

Joy - Our greatest reason to be joyful is that God has saved us, and we will spend eternity with Him in heaven, which is the result of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in and love the Lord Jesus; despite not having seen Him physically, we live by faith (Romans 1:17). We rejoice that our names are written in the Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1Peter 1:8,9 

Peace - We have peace with God because we have already been forgiven of all sins and justified by faith, as if we’ve never sinned. This is only possible through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 

Longsuffering - God continually forbears with us, and by His grace, we should demonstrate the love of God with longsuffering and forbearance to one another, especially to brothers and sisters in Christ.

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;Ephesians 4:2 

Gentleness - Reflects the character of God, who is kind, compassionate, and gracious towards us. The Lord Jesus gave us the perfect picture of gentleness.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11 

Goodness - Only God is good! When we are led by the Holy Spirit, His goodness, righteousness, and truth are displayed. 

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Ephesians 5:9 

Faithfulness - God Himself is totally faithful. He is faithful to keep the promises He has made. 

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23 

Meekness - Describes how we are to humble and rely on God rather than ourselves or the people that surround us.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 

TemperanceThe ability to have self-control to overcome temptation of sin not in our own strength but through the Holy Spirit.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 

The Bible makes it very clear that the believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise the moment they believe, repent and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Saviour through His death, burial, resurrection, and His precious blood shed on the cross to save us from all sin.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13

THE MOST PRECIOUS GIFT

 


As we enter the Christmas season, when many people are focused on giving and receiving gifts, we would like to tell you about the most precious gift anyone could ever receive because of its eternal value. The Bible says a virgin shall be with child, and He shall be called Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 

What does this really mean? Are we not good people? Do we really need someone to save us from our sins? To clearly understand what Christmas is about, we must try to look at ourselves the way God sees us, and the way we do that is examine ourselves by His Laws (Ten Commandments).

Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything, regardless of its value? Have you ever used God's name in vain (as a cuss word)? Have you ever hated someone? Have you ever looked at someone with lust?

If you tell a lie, that makes you a liar (Revelation 21:8). If you've stolen anything, regardless of its value, that makes you a thief (Exodus 20:15). If you've used God's name in vain, you're a blasphemer (Exodus 20:7). If you hate someone, you're a murderer at heart (1 John 3:15). If you've looked at a person with lust, you're committing adultery in your heart (Matthew 5:27,28).

If you've answered yes to these five questions, by your own admission, you're a liar, thief, blasphemer, murderer, and adulterer at heart. We've only looked at five of the Ten Commandments; that's how God sees you; nothing is hidden from His holy eyes.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14

If God judges you by His standard, will you be innocent or guilty of breaking His laws (Ten Commandments)? Many people will admit to being guilty, but they may believe that God is good, that He forgives, and that He will overlook their sins. God is good, and because He is good, He will give a righteous judgment, or else He will be a corrupt judge.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 

You and I will be guilty when we stand before God, but God did something wonderful for us so that we wouldn’t have to go to hell. Do you know what that was? He sent His Son, Jesus Christ born of a virgin, perfect and sinless, to die for the payment of our sins on the cross, buried then He rose on the third day and defeated sin and death so that we could have everlasting life.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23 


For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 
John 3:16 

That’s why Jesus Christ was born—"to save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21) and suffer punishment in your place. God’s word says that if you believe, repent, put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the only one who can save you, then God will forgive you because Jesus precious blood shed on the cross is more than enough to cleanse you from all of your sins.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7 

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7 

Please don’t refuse this heavenly free gift of salvation from God, which is available to anyone: a love story written in blood on the cross over 2000 years ago. All glory to God for His incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Those who receive this incredible gift of salvation through God’s love, mercy, and grace will never suffer the eternal punishment in hell that they deserved.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 

May you find the true meaning of Christmas because it always begins with Christ.

THE DECEPTION OF MORMONISM

 



 1.Christian belief of the word God

We use the word God, we mean the Creator of the universe, the one who manifest Himself to Moses on Mount Sinai, the God of Israel. There is only one Creator. There are lots of gods with small g, handmade gods, gods that are made up in the minds of people, but there is only one Creator, the one in whom dwells eternal life God Almighty. There’s always only been one God and always will be one God.

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Isaiah 46:9

Mormon belief of the word God

The god that they follow and serve is one of countless gods. Who began as a mortal man on another planet, and became god through learning and obedience he was given this planet to rule, who is Elohim. Mormons believe that they too can become a god like him and be given their own planet to rule over.

2.Christian belief of the Gospel

The gospel is Christ died for our sins and rose again three days later according to the scriptures. The word gospel means “good news”. A preacher of the gospel preaches the gospel with the law of God to show what sin is, so we see a need of the Saviour. The gospel is Christ died for our sins and defeated sin and death.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:24

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Mormon belief of the gospel

Latter-day Saints beliefs is from five main sources:

1.The book of Mormon, Joseph Smith said is “the most correct of any book on earth”.

2.The Doctrine and Covenants (mostly theology)

3.The Pearl of Great Price

4. The King James Bible, “insofar as it translated correctly” for the average Mormon this means that the Bible cannot be trusted, which is why Joseph Smith began his own ”inspired” translation.

5.The Mormon president, considered to be the final authority and voice of God on earth today- like a Mormon pope.

For the Mormons gospel is merely just following the teachings of the Mormon church.

3.Christian belief of Heaven

Heaven is the dwelling place of God. Born again Bible believing Christians will be in the presence of God forever. When we speak of heaven or our hope of eternity, the Bible says we will receive a new heavenly body like Jesus had when He rose from the dead. Bodies that are not subject to disease, decay and death.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3 

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:21

 

Mormon belief of heaven

Mormons believe that, after the final judgement, almost everyone will go to some form of heaven. For the Mormons, heaven is divided into 3 kingdoms. Celestial, Terrestrial and Telestial. The Celestial is only for faithful Mormons who meet all the requirements will enter this highest kingdom, Terrestrial is for those refuse to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ but who live honourable lives, most Mormons will also end up here. Telestial is for everyone else who is wicked and ungodly.

4.Christian belief of Hell

Hell is eternal damnation. A place where people are treated given their just punishment, exactly what they deserve according to the perfect righteousness of God. Outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Everybody who’s name was not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are cast into the lake of fire and get their eternal punishment in hell.

And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:50 

 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15 

 

Mormon belief of Hell

Mormons believe in hell and for them there are two types of hell. One is a state of pain, guilt, and anguish where the spirits of the wicked will be after they die but before the final judgment (a state of spirit prison).The other is an everlasting state of hell reserved for a few truly wicked (outer darkness) they taught that its only for the “sons of perdition” the devil and his angels, and a few apostate Mormons.

 

Mormon belief of Jesus

Mormons believe God came to this planet he brought his goddess wives, and they began producing spirit children who grew and matured in the spirit realm. Jesus was the first of their spirit children to be born in heaven, followed by Lucifer and the rest of us. He is the spirit brother of Satan and He is not eternal God. Mormons deny the Trinity and believe that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate gods. Therefore, instead of teaching that Jesus is our immortal God who became a man, the LDS church teaches that Jesus is a mortal man who became a god and showed that all men can do the same. That certainly isn’t the Jesus of the Bible.

5.Christian belief of Jesus

Jesus is our Lord and Saviour, God manifest in the flesh. God became a human being. He created Himself a body prepared for many.The Bible says, Jesus is the express image of the invisible God. The reason God became a human being was to save us from our sins through His precious blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary, through the death, burial and resurrection. Jesus conquered sin and death to reconcile us unto Him.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Colossians 1:13,14 

Again, the Bible is clear that forgiveness of sins does not depend on our own efforts, but only on what Christ has accomplished for us on the cross. Eternal life is freely available to all who do what the Scriptures command.

Believe, repent and trust in Jesus Christ alone to be saved. Read the Holy Bible (The Instruction book for life itself) and ask God to help us obey what we read.

WHY WOULD A GOD OF LOVE SEND SOMEONE TO HELL?



In asking that question, they reveal that they do not understand the love of God and the wickedness of sin. God’s love is a holy love, not a shallow sentiment and sin is rebellion against a holy and loving God.


God is loving yes, but that’s not all He is. He’s also a good judge. Should a loving human judge allow criminals to go free? Of course not, if we with our finite justice system think it is necessary to punish criminals in civil court, how much more should an infinite God judge our crimes or our sins against Him. The Bible tells us that God alone is Holy, He the standard of all that is right, virtuous and good, His nature is pure.


Exalt  ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
Psalms 99:5


Think of it like this, if we were to light a match and we will place a flame next to a dried – out leaf what would happen? Well the fire would consume the leaf? Why? Because they’re different, their natures are opposed one to the other. The same way God and man’s natures are opposite. On the day of judgement sinful man will not be able to stand in the presence of a holy God because of their opposing natures. The issue is not God’s love, the issue is His Holiness. He is described as a consuming fire who dwells in unapproachable light.


For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29


God doesn’t want anyone to go to hell.


The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9


In our evil wicked sinful state there is no way we can approach Him. Our only hope is to somehow take on the same nature as God. We must be Born Again!


Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 KJV




When we repent and put our faith in the resurrected Christ, God imputes His righteousness to us. It’s imperative that we are given this new nature since each of us are headed towards our own personal judgement day. He is coming to judge the world and He will judge the world in righteousness.


Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:31 KJV



God sent His Son Jesus who willingly laid His life down, crucified on the cross and resurrected after 3 days to pay the price to forgive us of our sins, through His precious blood. The Bible says how shall we escape, if we neglect so great gift of salvation.

The problem isn’t with God, the problem is our sin!

Thoughts from Dawn: The Release of One Way to Grace







It's here. It exists. It's out there in the world.
One Way to Grace has been released by our lovely publishers Ambassador International. You can buy it and everything. Somewhere right now, in all likelihood, a person I've never met, never seen, never conceived of, is reading the words I wrapped around the incredible stories of David Daly. Perhaps he or she feels less alone, less desperate, a little closer to a relationship with God. 

Two years, three composition notebooks, and more hours than I can count on Skype. It sounds like a lot, but in truth the whole production came down to one moment. One sentence...

Making Grace a Reality

Well folks, the book is complete.
Proofreading has been done, submissions made, and a publisher is on board! One Way to Grace is quickly becoming a reality, only one more big step to take.

Because I am a new writer, and David is an everyday man with an incredible but unknown story, we need to raise a small amount of money to invest in the publishing efforts. The publisher we are working with is ready to print, promote, market, and distribute the book as soon as David and I are able to make a $2500 investment. Neither David nor I are rich people, but we are sure that God will help us find a way to reach this funding goal.
Throughout my time as a writer, I've heard stories of expensive self-publishing ventures that ended in disappointment. Let me assure you, this is not self-publishing. The investment is much more similar to the cost of hiring an agent, editor, and publicist. Instead of paying for those services out of the percentage of the book's profits we receive (which David can use to more effectively minister and deliver his testimony to the world) we are taking care of it right up-front.
We are reaching out to you, Dear Reader, for any kind of support you can offer. One Way to Grace will touch so many lives, show so many people how faith and trust in God can transform a man. Not to mention the opportunity to put passages from Scripture and an inspiring testimony into the hands, minds, hearts, and souls of those who need God's love and light in their lives. Even as someone who has not accepted Christ or walked the born-again path that David has, I can attest to the beauty this work has brought into my life, the purpose and relationship with God I have felt since first studying Scripture with David over a year ago.

The needed funding goal is a total of $2500. As we make progress toward that goal, I will update readers here and anyone who chooses to contribute will get regular email updates. Plans are currently being made for a way to easily make contributions through an online platform. Until that option goes live, each contribution will need to be handled personally by either me or David. How Reading Scripture Together Strengthens Your New Marriage








Every couple aims to have a happy and healthy marriage. This could be achieved by putting God Almighty as the head of the relationship.

Overcoming Doubt



Something I have learned from David is overcoming doubt. The strength of David's faith allows him to place his trust in God and walk with sure, determined steps through life. He has gone through more ups, downs, and life changes than anyone else I've ever met and he still remains steadfast and optimistic.

On the other hand, I am a notorious self-doubter.
If I had a nickel for every short story, novel, and essay I started and doubted myself into never finishing, I could self-publish One Way to Grace on sheets of solid gold. The beauty of writing with David is that it eliminates the solitude of the artistic process and allows me to draw from David's sureness. When I start to feel smaller than the project or doubt in my ability, there he is to remind me that together he and I are unstoppable.

How will One Way to Grace help others to overcome their own doubt?



The first half of One Way to Grace is devoted to David's childhood in Northern Ireland and how his life spiraled out of control due to alcoholism and an addiction to reckless behavior. (Two things which usually go hand in hand.) 
Then, everything changes for David. 
A single moment of trusting a sign that he needed to get help, instead of doubting his ability to do so, transforms David from a lost soul with no direction to a new man with sobriety, faith, and purpose. It would have been easier for David to ignore that sign, doubt that moment of clarity, and continue on toward an empty existence. 

When doubt creeps into David's thoughts, he turns to Scripture and the spirit of Christ for strength and guidance. We all have the ability to find the strength of our convictions, whether those convictions deal with faith, relationships, or our careers. To read the long, and sometimes painful, journey David took to go from a shy, scared little boy to a strong man of God teaches us that doubt is a small hill to climb and on the other side is the power to achieve.

A Walk of Faith & Honesty







As a child of God, we all have a powerful Testimony to tell, sharing how we came to Jesus and the difference He's made in your life, that can help others discover how they, too, can know God personally.

But how do you distill a lifetime of experiences into a few minutes and communicate the significance of your faith in a way others can understand?this is the challenge.


1. Consult God first in everything. Talk to your Father in Heaven, trusting in his will and word to come to pass in your life.

 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
-Psalm 118:8 KJV
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
-Matthew 7:7



2. Be yourself and be completely honest to yourself and to others.

 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
-Proverbs 12:22 KJV


3. Prayer: Pray always trusting in God to answer in his time and to do whats best for you.

Pray without ceasing.
-1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV       


4. Let the Holy Spirit lead you.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
-Romans 8:14 KJV
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Notes from David Daly about Dawn Merrow

When I met Dawn, and shared My Testimony as God Directs me through the Holy Spirit, I didn't expect to be blessed doing this Work!.....even as I write this the Scripture below enters my heart,

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
John 14:12

God is so good!.. Dawn, even though she has called our meeting 'chance,' I believe that "by Gods Grace and His hand upon her life has directed her to me. This Wonderful, Talented established Writer/Author and deservedly Co/Partner, has been directed to me for us both to do this Powerful Testimony of God's Love and Grace through faith in his Son Jesus, to encourage others and give hope that just as I done..."One Sincere Prayer from Our heart of repentence before God can be the start of a 'beautiful,fulfilling New life Wow!!......thank you lord another Scripture below:
