We thank our Lord God Almighty for granting us another new
year. For His marvellous grace that sustains us for His glory. We thank all our
readers and viewers of ‘One Way to Grace.’ For all those who have been a blessing
to us, especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ, who continually pray
for us.
New Year is here, and, for many, it’s a time to make some
resolutions. In other words, we set goals to help us accomplish things. It's
good to have goals, but sometimes the emphasis then becomes about what we need
to do in our own strength rather than acknowledging and relying on God's grace
(God’s great mercy and unmerited favour) to help us in achieving those goals
according to His will. We should rely on God in everything; whether the goal is
big or small, we should entrust it to God and look up to Him, because God is
sovereign, our Creator, and the source of all mankind.
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7
As we wait for the blessed hope, the joyful assurance that God has given us. We look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13
The Lord Jesus will come again and take with Him into heaven
all those who believe and trust in Him alone to be saved (Rapture). He takes
away all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous
judgement to be poured out on the earth. God will resurrect all believers who
have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with
all living believers, who will also be given glorified bodies at that time.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
Time is of the essence; the return of the Lord Jesus Christ
is imminent. We don't want you to be left behind and be under His righteous
judgment. Please examine yourselves as we enter this new year to see if you
have violated the moral laws of God, the Ten Commandments.
Have you ever lied?
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish. Proverbs 19:9
Have you taken anything that does not belong to you regardless of its value?
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.1 Corinthians 6:10
Have you taken the name of the God in vain?
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Deuteronomy 5:11
Have you lusted after someone or had sex before marriage?
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:27,28
Have you hated someone? (murder of the heart).
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15
If you have answered yes to these questions, by your own admission, you're a lying, thieving, blasphemer, adulterer, and murderer at heart. That's how God sees you, and nothing is hidden from His holy eyes. If you have violated any of God's moral laws, you will be guilty on Judgement Day, and you will end up in God's eternal prison called hell.
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9
You don’t want to go to hell, we don’t want you to go there.
Good news, Praise God for He is rich in mercy; God made a way (John 14:6) He provided a Saviour, His only
begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from the wrath of God through the judgement
to come. When you believe, change your mind from unbelief to belief in Jesus
Christ alone, and what Jesus has done for you through His precious blood shed on
the cross, through the death, burial, and resurrection. God will cleanse you
from all sin past, present and future sins forgiven (John 19:30). God will change you inwardly (Born Again), through
the Holy Spirit; your place in heaven is prepared for you. God is so gracious
to you that He granted you another new year, another chance for you to come to
Him; nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:14
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 6:47
Blessing in Christ,
David & Gay
