Psalms 91:13-16 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Ephesians 6:10-14 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Ephesians 6:15-18 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

HOW CAN A SINNER BE JUSTIFIED IN THE SIGHT OF GOD?

A sinner can only be made right with God through faith in the substitutionary atonement through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The sinless Saviour laid down His life willingly, endured suffering, and died a horrendous death on the cross for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world, but only those who would believe the gospel would be justified. Justification is when God makes sinners right in His sight when they believe and trust in Jesus Christ alone as their Lord and Saviour Romans 3:21-28.

Justification means that a believer is justified as if he or she never sinned in the sight of God. God doesn't just forgive you; He does more than that; He justifies you as though sin has never been committed and that it was done by the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross through faith alone in Him.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9

Justification is the imputation of the righteousness of Christ to the repentant sinner. The sinless Saviour went to the cross as a substitute for all of us by taking the punishment of all of our sins, and only those who have appropriated the atonement are made righteous or not guilty in God's sight.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Justification is having peace with God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1

Justification is when a condemned sinner who deserves eternal death is declared righteous in God's sight.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:12,21

The apostle Paul teaches that believers in Christ are not justified by their works but by God's grace and mercy.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5

Justification means that when you believe and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Saviour, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit and baptised into the body of Christ.

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13

Jesus Christ completed the work required for our justification on the cross. He said, "It is finished." the last words He spoke before He died on the cross, meaning the debt of our sins has already been paid.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19:30

The moment you humble yourself, believe, repent (change of mind from unbelief to belief) in what Jesus Christ has done for you on the cross, He laid down His life willingly so that you could be forgiven and defeated sin and death by His glorious resurrection. Only then are you justified, declared righteous or not guilty, and receive the free gift of salvation. You will then be filled with the Holy Spirit and born again (God will change you from within), and your place in heaven is prepared.

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:7

We can only be justified by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ Alone, Scripture Alone, for the glory of God alone!

Blessings in Christ.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Everything you hold dear is going to be torn from your hands by death. Whether we like it or not, we are all part of the ultimate statistic: Ten out of ten die.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27

Death happens because we have sinned and violated the moral laws of God. The Ten commandments.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

With a tender conscience ask yourself if you have obeyed the following:

You shall have no other gods before Me. (Have you always kept God first in your life?)

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3

Thou shall not lie. (Have you lied even once? Including answering these questions).

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. Proverbs 19:5

You shall not steal. (Have you ever stolen anything irrelevant of the value?)

Thou shalt not steal. Exodus 20:15

You shall not take God’s name in vain. (Have you ever used God’s name as a cuss word? “Jesus Christ or Oh my God”?)

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Exodus 20:7

You shall not commit adultery. (Have you lusted after someone or had sex before marriage?)

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Matthew 5:27-28

You shall not murder. (Have you hated someone? Which is murder of the heart.)

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

If you have answered Yes to any of these questions, by your own admission you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemer, adulterer, idolater and murderer at heart. That’s how God sees you: nothing is hidden from His Holy eyes.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14

The Bible says that if we have broken even one of God’s commandments, we are guilty of breaking all His laws.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10

God is holy, just and righteous and will even judge our thoughts, word and deeds. This is how serious sin is to God. If you have violated any of God’s laws, you will be guilty on Judgement Day. The penalty of sin is death, and you will end up in a terrible place called Hell.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31

However, the Bible says God is rich in mercy, and in His great kindness, He provided a Saviour, Jesus, took the punishment for the sin of the world. He died on the cross so that we could be forgiven, then rose from the dead and defeated death. God doesn’t want you to go to Hell. Neither do you want to go there. To receive everlasting life as a free gift, believe, repent, trust, and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone and the sacrifice made through His precious blood shed on the cross through His death, burial, and resurrection.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:8,9

God will forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life. God will give you a new nature (born-again), and He will walk with you through the Holy Spirit. Eternal life is a free gift. You can’t earn it by doing anything. Then read the Holy Bible daily and ask God to help you obey what you read.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

Blessings in Christ,
