REPENTANCE

The word repentance means deep sorrow; regret for any past action, wrongdoing, conviction of the heart, or sinful ways. A sincere turning away in both mind and heart from mans sinful ways to God.
To repent in relation to salvation is to change your mind from rejection of Jesus Christ to the faith of Jesus Christ, to recognize that He is indeed "Lord and Saviour".
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
-Mark 1:15
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
-Romans 12:2
All the Prophets, apostles and even Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ called for repentance.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
-Matthew 4:17
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
-Luke 5:32
The goodness of God leads us to repentance.

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
-Romans 2:4
By Gods Love and great Mercy, when we  repent, admitting we have sinned against God,believe in Jesus Christ alone and what He did for us at the cross of Calvary.
God then is able to restore that relationship with Himself  by His Grace, leading us to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, to continue to guide us into all truth ,the renewing of our minds through Gods word, personal relationship in prayer, and the inwardly and outwardly changing of our lives. A person who has truly repented from the rejection of Christ to faith in Jesus Christ will give evidence of a changed heart, mind and life showing the love of God.

FORGIVENESS

What is Forgiveness by God?
Mankind has a sinful nature. Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, and humans have been sinning against God ever since.
God Almighty provided a way for us to be forgiven, and that way is through His only beloved Son Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus confirmed that in no uncertain terms when he said:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
-John 14:6 King James Version
God’s plan of salvation was to send Jesus, His only Son, into the world as a sacrifice for our sins. Because of our sinful nature, we cannot repair our broken relationship with God on our own. Moreover, that sacrifice had to be perfect and spotless. Only Jesus Christ was qualified to do that for us. During the last supper Jesus said:
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
-Matthew 26:28 King James Version

Why do we have to forgive others?

We cannot hold grudges, bitterness, or seek revenge because when we do it only eats away at us, the feeling of tumult and pain on the inside just keeps getting worse, leaving us resentful, hard-hearted. The longer we refuse, the more unwilling we become to forgive. We are to trust God for justice and forgive the other person who offended us.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
-Matthew 6:14-15 King James Version
In order for us to be forgiven we must forgive others, which then releases us from all resentfulness, bitterness and ill feeling and gives us freedom from the pain inside and leads to peace in our hearts.

The Oneness of God

There is one God. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three coeternal Persons. God is immortal, all powerful, all knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation.

The Godhead

Scripture tells us that there is one God:
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
-Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV)
Scripture also says that the Father is God.
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
-1 Corinthians 8:6 (KJV)

Scripture also says that the Son/Christ is God

I and my Father are one.
-John 10:30 (KJV)
Scripture also says that the Holy Spirit is God.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
-Genesis 1:2 (KJV)

These Person's, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, constitute the Godhead.

Godhead- Old Testament

The divine summons in Genesis
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
-Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:
-Genesis 3:22 (KJV)

This has often been understood to have the Godhead in view.

Isaiah 63 presents three divine Persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
-Isaiah 63:8,11,16 (KJV)

Godhead- New Testament

In the New Testament the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are presented as distinct Persons, but as One God.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
-1 John 5:7 (KJV)
Jesus prayed to the Father and asked for the Comforter (Holy Spirit) indicating three Persons functioning as One.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
-John 14:16,18,20,26  (KJV)

When Jesus was baptised in the River Jordon by John the Baptist, this is a clear picture of the Godhead, God speaking, Spirit of God descending like a dove (Holy Spirit), and Jesus coming up straightway out of the water.

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
-Matthew 3:16,17 (KJV)
Note below that the Baptism takes place not in the names, but in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
-Matthew 28:19 (KJV)

This implies that while the Persons of the Godhead are distinct, they are indissolubly united in essence and nature: Therefore it is evident that in God's substance there are three Persons, in which the One God is recognized.

The Hands of the Lord Jesus Christ

My times are in thy hand
-Psalm 31:15(KJV)

We are safe today in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We would like to speak to you about the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our times are in His hands, wouldn't it be good to know what kind of hands the Lord Jesus has?

Hands are amazing things! With our hands we welcome people, we talk. We express with our hands. They are so important. When we look at the hands of Jesus they are calloused hands, strong with labour. He worked as a carpenter and, after Joseph died, in his teens he was the provider of the family. Manual labour in those days was looked down upon in that culture, because that was only for slaves and hirelings. Upper class, the nobility and Roman citizens didn't do manual labour. That was for the lowest of the low. But do you remember Jesus emptied himself? He came down from His throne and glory in heaven, God manifest as a human being, and he didn't mind working with his hands. And those hands are strong hands. But you know those hands are not only strong hands, but they are also secure hands. Jesus said:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
-John 10:28 (KJV)
Let us tell you this, if you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, he will never let you go. No one will pluck you out of His hand. Why? Because believers are members of the body of Christ.
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
-Romans 12:5 (KJV)
When He saves you he saves you, powerfully and eternally. Come to the Lord Jesus Christ and rest upon His doing, dying and rising again from the dead.  He has paid it all. These hands are secure hands, these hands of Jesus, Our times are in His hands!
There is something else we would like to tell you about the hands of the Lord Jesus. The hands of the Lord Jesus are healing hands. They are strong hands, secure hands and healing hands.
And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
-Matthew 8:14-15 (KJV)
One touch from Jesus’ hand restored her and the fever left her immediately. Isn't that wonderful? Jesus not only healed her, he healed the untouchable lepers.
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
-Matthew 8:2-3 (KJV)
You weren't even suppose to touch a leper in those days. Lepers had to walk around with a bell shouting unclean. Remember Jairus who had a sick daughter in Mark chapter 5, and he bows before Jesus, down on his knees, pleading for Jesus to use His healing hand upon his daughter. Well let us tell you this, we can all learn something from this. The best place to ask for help from His hand is at His feet.
Have you been to Him recently? Have you cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you? And so never ever be afraid, ask the Lord Jesus to lay His healing hand upon you. Our times are in His hands! Those are strong hands, those are secure hands, and those are healing hands. But there's more, they are providing hands.
And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
He said, Bring them hither to me.
And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
-Matthew 14:15-20 (KJV)
Jesus takes five loaves and two fish, out of that he feeds a multitude. His hands are providing hands. He takes a little in His hands and makes a lot, and he can do that for you and for us. Our times are in His hands!
God's hands are bigger than ours, He is able to sustain us. He is able to take us through whatever is coming and whatsoever is ahead. He is able to provide our every need.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
-Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
The hand of provision comes from the Lord. Why do we believe that? Because Jesus is raised from the dead. Our times are in His hands!
Wait untill you hear this, these hands are also redeeming hands.
But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
-John 20:24-25 (KJV)
When Jesus hands were nailed to the cross, arms outstretched, those same hands that had gone around doing good, providing healing, cruel man nailed them to the cross. Why? Because here it is...Your sin and our sin and every one of us are sinners and Jesus took the sin of his people on his person at the cross, he was wounded for our transgressions. His hands were cruelly nailed to the cross, the people gathered around him and they mocked him and cursed him, spat upon him and said we will believe you if you come down from the cross. Jesus could have come down from the cross, He was God manifest in the flesh, but if Jesus had chose to come down from the cross and save himself, then he could not have saved you and could not have saved us. Even on the cross His hands and arms were outstretched welcoming all from the east to the west. He won't stop you because of your colour, religion, wealth, social status etc. Come to him, trust him, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. He is welcoming you, He is the only mediator, God's representative between heaven and earth. Have you seen those pierced hands as being pierced for you? Those hands are now our guard and guide. Jesus hands are not only redeeming but are blessed hands.
And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
-Luke 24:50-51 (KJV)
The last act that Jesus performed before he returned to heaven was to lift up his hands and bless his people. As he ascended into heaven he blessed his people. What a picture of Grace! The hands of Jesus are not only strong hands, they're secure hands, they're healing hands, they're providing hands, they're redeeming hands and they're hands of blessing, and that is the gospel truth!!

Salvation

Salvation means being saved from the power of sin and from hell, the eternal penalty for that sin. Through the process of salvation, we are freed from everything that could prevent us from enjoying eternal life with God Almighty. We have all violated the principles of Truth in the Word of God Almighty.

What must we do to be saved?

1.We have all sinned against God Almighty with our words, thoughts and intents of the heart; even to our family, friends and strangers.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;-Romans 3:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.-Romans 6:23 (KJV)
 2. We need to ask forgiveness, repent, and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. We need to turn from our sinful ways.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.-Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
-1 John 1:9 (KJV)
 3. Then we are born again (A spiritual change from sinfulness to righteousness).
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.-John 3:3 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.-2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

4. Public declaration, through baptism, of our faith in Jesus Christ. It is a covenant in the presence of men and women. God Almighty Himself and the angels are watching as well.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.-Acts 2:38 (KJV) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.-Mark 16:16 (KJV)

5. Those who have been born again are now justified by faith of Jesus Christ.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:-Ephesians 2:8 (KJV)

6. This is only the beginning of our journey with Jesus Christ. We are all a work in progress, which leads to sanctification, to make holy, set apart.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.-1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV)

Work with God Almighty, Pray, read God’s Word being led by the Holy Spirit. God Almighty does His part and we do our part.

All Glory to God Almighty

David & Gay

    (Matthew 24:7)
  10. The fact that God once flooded the earth (the Noahic flood) will be denied. There is a mass of fossil evidence to prove this fact, yet it is flatly ignored by the scientific world because of its uncanny implication.
    (2 Peter 3:5-6)
  11. The institution of marriage will be forsaken by many.
    (1 Timothy 4:3)

  22. The Christian Gospel will be preached as a warning to all nations.
    (Matthew 24:14)
  23. Jesus said Christians will be hated "for His name's sake."
    (Matthew 24:9)
  24. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth, distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;  Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
    (Luke 21:25-26)
  25. Youth will become rebellious.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.
    (2 Timothy 3:2)
  26. Men will mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, "for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2 Peter 3:4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust (verse 3). They fail to understand that a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to us. God is not subject to the time that He created. He can flick through time as we flick through the pages of a history book. The reason He seems to be silent, is because He is patiently waiting, not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance.
Please take time to read The Bible references.
