1.Christian belief of “Who is God”?
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1 John 5:7 (KJV)
Jehovah’s Witnesses belief of “Who is God”?
They reject the biblical concept of a triune God. God is known as “Jehovah”, the Almighty. Although He is eternal and omnipotent, He is not omnipresent. In addition, Jehovah’s Witnesses deny the deity of the Holy Spirit.
2. Christians belief of “Who is Jesus”?
We believe that Jesus is God and eternally exist.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jesus became flesh which we can touch and dwelt among us.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 (KJV)
Jesus is our God and Saviour.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Titus 2:13 (KJV)
Jehovah’s Witnesses belief of “Who is Jesus”?
The Watchtower Society teaches that Jesus is not God incarnate but is just a created directly by Jehovah. Before Jesus came to earth He was Michael the archangel. He was later re-created on earth as a perfect man.
Jehovah’s Witnesses also deny the bodily resurrection of Christ. They believe that after Jesus was buried, God disposed of His physical body. Jesus was raised as a spirit creature and temporarily “materialized” different physical bodies to make Himself visible to His disciples. Now back in Heaven as a spirit, He is once again known as Michael the archangel.
3.Christians belief of Heaven and Hell.
The Bible speaks clearly of the existence of Heaven. It describes a place in which sadness, pain and death end.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
Hell is also spoken in the Bible. It is a place of torment or misery an eternal punishment of the wicked after death and complete separation from God.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
Jehovah’s Witnesses belief of Heaven and Hell.
They deny the existence of Hell as a place of everlasting punishment for the wicked. They believe in “soul sleep” that humans don’t have immortal souls, so when the body dies there is no longer conscience existence. They teach that Hell is simply the common grave of mankind. Those who are righteous will be resurrected and those who are ultimately condemned by God will be annihilated and cease to exist.
The Watchtower theology of Heaven teaches that only 144,000 anointed ones can only enter Heaven. So, for the vast majority of remaining Jehovah’s Witnesses they will never go to Heaven or see Jesus/Michael. Their only hope is to live in the Paradise established on earth.
4.Christian belief of Sin and Salvation.
We believe that sin is a transgression/violation against God’s Holy law. An act of rebellion against Him.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1 John 3:4 (KJV)
Salvation however, the Holy Bible says God is rich in mercy, and in His great kindness, He provided a Saviour, Jesus took the punishment for the sin of the world. He died on the cross, so that we could be forgiven, then He rose from the dead and defeated death.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Jehovah’s Witnesses belief of Sin and Salvation.
They believe that in the Fall, all mankind inherited “imperfection” from Adam and Eve and hence are sinners who are subject to death. But they believe sin was only partially atoned for by Christ. As a perfect man, Christ death paid the ransom that removed the effects of Adam’s sin, but Individuals still have to work to earn forgiveness for their present and future sins. Salvation include baptism by immersion, repentance, active association with the Watchtower Society, righteous conduct and absolute loyalty to Jehovah. Even then, there is no assurance of Salvation, only hope for a resurrection. Those who fail to live up to these requirements, or who are disfellowshipped by the Watchtower Society, have no hope of Salvation.

1. Christian belief of the Word of God
We use the word God, Mormons use the word God. When we say God, we mean the Creator of the universe, the one who manifest Himself to Moses on Mount Sinai, the God of Israel as He calls Himself. There is only one Creator. There are lots of gods with small g, handmade gods, gods that are made up in the minds of people, but there is only one Creator, the one in whom dwells eternal life God Almighty. There’s always only been one God and always will be one God.
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Mormons belief of the word God
The god that they follow and serve is one of countless gods. Who became a god himself from another world, who is Elohim, he created this world and he became god by following the law and ordinances of his god. They become gods by following their god and how far does that go back.
2. Christian belief of the Gospel
We use the word gospel. Gospel is Christ died for our sins and rose again 3 days later according to the scriptures. The word gospel means “good news”. As preachers of the gospel we preach the gospel with the law of God to show what sin is, so we see a need of the Saviour. The gospel good news is Christ died for our sins and defeated death.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15:3-4(KJV)
Mormon belief of the gospel
For the Mormons gospel is merely just following the law and ordinances of the Mormon church.
3.Christian belief of Heaven
Heaven is the dwelling place of God. God’s kingdom is coming to earth and God’s will be done on this earth. Heaven is coming to this earth and the meek will inherit the earth. When we speak of heaven or our hope of eternity the Bible says we will receive bodies like Jesus had when He rose from the dead. Bodies that are not subject to disease, decay and death.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Mormons belief of heaven
For the Mormons, heaven is divided into 3 kingdoms. Celestial, Terrestrial and Telestial. The Celestial is for the perfect Mormons, Terrestrial is moral people or lukewarm Mormons and the Telestial is for everyone else.
4.Christian belief of Hell
Hell is eternal damnation. A place where people are treated given their just desserts, exactly what they deserve according to the perfect righteousness of God. Outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Everybody who’s name was not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life gets their just desserts in that place called hell.
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Mormons belief of Hell
Mormon believe that hell is the temporary spirit world between death and resurrection. It is kind of a waiting place for those who are entering the telestial kingdom and hell is a temporal place by their belief.
5.Christian belief of Jesus
Who is Jesus according to us? According to the scripture Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. God became a human being. He created Himself a body, a body He prepared for many. He filled that body as a hand fills a glove. The Bible says, Jesus is the express image of the invisible God. The reason God became a human being was because God being a Spirit cannot die. You have to have a body to die and Jesus had to suffer and die and past through death and defeated death.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Mormons belief of Jesus
Jesus is Celestial offspring of God the Father. He is the spirit brother of Satan and He is not eternal God, He is just a god small g.

It works with karma the idea of your passed life of goodness and badness affects the quality and the position of your next incarnation. Although that might sound good, it makes no sense. Think about it. If this is true that each person had a first incarnation that means that each person had perfect karma since he had no previous life in which he had done anything wrong. So if he had perfect karma and he didn’t learn what he was supposed to have learnt during his first life, what makes you think that after hundreds if not thousands of incarnations with accumulated bad karma, that he’s now going to be able to achieve the perfect state of union with divine consciousness.
Then there’s the issue of final authority, when it’s time to reincarnate who or what is the cosmic authorative figure that gets to decide whether your good or bad. These religions by and large have no God who judges nor a gauge by which we are judged by. It’s just like having a justice system with no judge. It makes no sense. The deception of reincarnation is that there’s no day of judgement, no need for the cross and no need to trust in Christ.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
Aside from Jesus no one has ever been perfect, because of this, no one can ever be good enough to escape the cycle of reincarnation. After death we face judgement meaning there is no second chance. That’s why you need a Saviour today. On the day you die, you will not go back to the end of the line to try again. You’re going to be judged and without the righteousness of Christ you don’t stand a chance.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:21(KJV)

The reason why God commands all men everywhere to repent is…. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.(Acts 17:31)
We can have assurance that the day of judgement will take place and that Jesus will judge the earth - because of the resurrection.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
The Garden Tomb is believed by many to be the garden and sepulchre of Joseph of Arimathea, and therefore a possible site of the resurrection of Jesus.
So should we then try and convince an unbelieving world of the resurrection?
God’s Word is very clear about Jesus Christ resurrection appearances below:

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.Acts 2:24(KJV)

When sinners repent and believe the gospel, the eyes of their understanding are enlightened. They pass from darkness into light, from death to life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
We then become a new creation in Christ with a brand new heart and new desires.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

It is through the power of the gospel that the world will appreciate the miracle of the risen Christ who is the resurrection, also have assurance that God has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness.
So celebrate the resurrection by sharing the good news of the gospel with someone today.

Christ prayer for the sinners, though they were his persecutors and murderers, he prayed Father, forgive them.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Luke 23:34 (KJV)
Jesus Christ was crucified between two thieves. They were guilty before God, but one of the thieves said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. The thief repented and believed that Jesus is God.
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Luke 23:43 (KJV)
There stood by the cross, his mother, some of his relations, friends and his disciple.
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
John 19:26-27 (KJV)
When our Lord Jesus was suffering, for a time, forsaken by his Father because of our sins that he took upon himself. When we are in sin we are separated from God.
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Matthew 27:46 (KJV)
Jesus was thirsty after the accomplishment of the work of our redemption.
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
John 19:28 (KJV)
The commandment of his Father concerning his sufferings was now fulfilled.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
John 19:30 (KJV)
The words of Jesus as he breathed out his last breath.
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
Jesus was obedient to his Father even unto death. When we humble ourselves, acknowledge our sins, repent and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, he will save us from the wrath to come. Read his word the Holy Bible and obey what you read. Christ intercedes for all that repent, believe and trust in him.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Does someone go to hell for committing suicide?
Those who are adamant that a person who takes his life is committing a mortal sin, and will go to hell, are basing their belief on church doctrine rather than on the Bible. Scripture is silent on the subject. There are no verses that say, He who takes his own life shall be damned. According to scripture, only one sin does not have forgiveness, and that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:29-30). That means there is forgiveness for every other sin.
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
Mark 3:29-30 (KJV)
It’s a downward path that people can find themselves on if they get hurt by someone. It goes like this, Hurt, Rejection, Self-Pity, Resentment, Anger, Bitterness grows and it becomes Hatred, brings with it Depression and Suicide. You can see it happening in Scriptures, if you follow the life of King Saul, he felt rejected, he felt hurt by his people “Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands”.
And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
1 Samuel 18:7 (KJV)
So, he felt rejected and he became bitter and he got deep depression and he eventually committed suicide. “It’s something you need to shake off” Some quote (1 Corinthians 3:17) which says that God will destroy someone who defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit, Yet, there is disagreement about what it means to defile the temple. Does this include suicide? Does it include illicit drug abuse (slow suicide), prescription drug abuse, cigarettes (deliberately breathing in poisons that will eventually kill), tattoos, overeating or alcohol abuse?
God forbid that we add to the pain of someone who has lost a loved one through the tragedy of suicide.
If we are genuine followers of Christ and have been “born again” (John 3:3) the answer is no to does someone go to hell for committing suicide, because we are saved not by what we do, we are saved not by keeping the law, we are saved not by living perfect lives, we are saved by the grace of God alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
