The glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ
is the centre of Christian faith. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is very
important. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, we have forgiveness of
sin and the hope of eternal life. Many throughout the world celebrate this
miraculous, significant event as the power of faith and the promise of
salvation. He was crucified, buried, and, on the third day, miraculously rose
from the dead.
For I
delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that
he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the
scriptures:

The glorious
resurrection of Jesus Christ emphasises the victory over sin and death, the
triumph of light over darkness, and good over evil. The grave could not hold
Him. He is alive and is sitting down on the right hand of God the Father in
heaven.
O death,

The glorious resurrection brings salvation
to all humanity, and through Jesus Christ, everyone who believes and
appropriates the atonement has forgiveness of sins.
For all
have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being
justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God
hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance
of God;
To
declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the

Jesus Christ says, “I am the resurrection
and the life.” Apart from Him, there is no resurrection and no eternal life. It
guarantees that those who believe, repent, and trust in Christ alone to save
them will never die but will be resurrected into eternal life with Him.

said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me,
though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And

The Holy Bible tells us
about the blood from Genesis to Revelation and many people wonder why God
demands blood. Blood stands for life. When blood leaves your body that means
life is gone.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to
you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood
that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Leviticus 17:11 KJV
From the third chapter of
Genesis, when man was in the Garden of Eden and he broke God’s Law, he rebelled
against God and he found out that he was naked and God went out into the field
and slew some animals and shed some blood in order to take the skin and cover
their nakedness. From that moment on blood has been shed as a symbol of our
salvation.
Cain and Abel had
apparently been instructed how to worship God and Cain paid no attention, he
brought some vegetables to God as an offering, God rejected it. Abel brought a
blood sacrifice a calf and offered it to the Lord and God accepted it. Cain
grew very angry and very jealous of his brother and slew him. That was the
first murder and blood again was slain, shed in anger and war has been going on
between brothers and the human race ever since. Jesus said there will be wars
and rumours of wars till the end of time.
When Moses was down in
Egypt, trying to get the people out of Egypt, trying to get them into the
promise land. He was having this debate with Pharaoh. God said and you remember
alright tell them I’m going to kill the first born in all of Egypt tonight.
Tell the Jewish people to go out and slay a lamb without blemish and put the
blood on the door post. When I see the blood I will Passover, not when I see
the good works and that was the beginning of the Passover. God said when I see
the blood I will Passover you.
And the blood
shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the
blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy
you, when I smite the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:13 KJV
There are several great
words on the power and the value of the blood.
1. Redemption
(which means deliverance)
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible
things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition
from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without
blemish and without spot: 1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV
The Bible teaches that we
as a human race are in the pawnshop of the devil and by disobedience we’re
enslaved spiritually under his authority. Unable to redeem ourselves, and
Christ died on the cross and paid the price for our salvation and redeemed us by
the giving of His own blood. He gave His blood to pay for our sins to redeem us
and if you’re not under the blood you’re not going to heaven. You must be under
the blood. Are you sure that, that experience has been yours? You have to
repent of sin, believe, trust and faith in Christ alone to save you.
2. Remission
(which means forgiveness)
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many
for the remission of sins.
Matthew 26:28 KJV
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without
shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 9:22 KJV
The blood you see is a
shadow and the type in the Old Testament and it was sprinkled on the
tabernacle, the vessels, the book, and the congregations annually and this
action enabled God to forgive sins. Divine justice was satisfied and Divine
mercy extended through the types of blood. And Jesus in His death on the cross
made possible the forgiveness of sins through His blood. This is the heart of
the gospel. There is no gospel but this.
3. Justification (which means justified
as if we have never sinned, to be proven innocent, free from blame.)
But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us. Romans 5:8 KJV
We cannot do it ourselves
it’s impossible. You can work all your life and do good works and pay money to
the church, but that won’t justify you. The only thing that will justify you in
heaven, on earth is the blood of Jesus Christ, and justification means again just
as though you’re never sinned. That’s the power of the blood.
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is
in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:24 KJV
Notice His Grace, Grace
is unmerited favour, something we don’t deserve. We don’t deserve our sins
forgiven, we don’t deserve to go to heaven, we’ll be honest with you, we don’t
deserve it, we deserve hell, but we received forgiveness and justification and
our names written in the Book of Life, and we are going to receive heaven
forever because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
4. Cleansing
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us
from all sin. 1 John 1:7 KJV
When you come to the
cross not only does He cleanse all the past sins, but that blood is available
for any present or future sins. So that you stand before God justified and pure
ready to go to heaven. That’s a marvellous thing to have happen to you. God can
no longer see your sins. We’re cleansed by the blood in the spiritual realm.
The process is that of repentance and faith to all who will confess and forsake
sin, God offers a new chance. Wouldn’t that be wonderful a brand new start in
life to be born from above, to be born anew, born again to start over and all
the past, present and future sins forgiven, that’s what God offers you.
5. Peace
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to
reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in
earth, or things in heaven.
Colossians 1:20 KJV
Because of the blood of Jesus
Christ, we can have peace. There are 3 types of peace spoken in the Bible.
First is peace with God. He makes peace at the cross. Then there’s the peace of
God the Holy Spirit produces in you, when you come to Christ you have a peace
that you have never known before. Think of the restlessness in the world today.
Among so many of us, the pressures that we live under but to think of having
peace in the midst of it all and then there is peace between nations and that’s
going to happen someday when Jesus comes back again and reign as KING OF KINGS
AND LORD OF LORDS. You can have that peace here and now. In the midst of the
troubles and trials, and discouragements of life and the pressures of life you
can have the peace of God which passeth all understanding.
If you have pardon from
God you can stand before anything in this world with peace in your heart,
because if you’re ready to die you’re ready to live. And you’ve already been
pardoned because of Christ free pardon for sin, we’re not afraid of anything at
the judgement because of the blood of Christ.
It was all done at the
cross; it saves sinners like you and me. Is the blood of Jesus Christ sprinkled
on the door of your heart? Will the judgement of God Passover you? Or are you
going to face the judgement of God? Which is it going to be?

Happiness is not
the meaning of our existence. Your meaning is much greater than this.
Your
Reality
Is
your life simply to be born, grow up, find a job, have a family, enjoy your
life, and then die? Is that all there is? Definitely not. We’re made for so
much more. Your purpose of existence is to know God.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
After we die, the
Bible says we’ll face God as our Judge. Have you ever rebelled (sinned) against
God?
Examine
yourself by God’s Law the Ten Commandments.
You
shall have no other gods before me. (Have you kept God first in your life?)
Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
You
shall not lie. (Have you lied even once?)
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
You
shall not steal. (Have you ever stolen anything irrelevant of the value?)
Exodus 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.
You
shall not take God’s name in vain. (Have you ever used God’s holy name as a
cuss word (“Jesus Christ” or Oh my God”)? It’s called blasphemy.
Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in
vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
You
shall not commit adultery. (Have you lusted after someone or had sex before
marriage?) Matthew 5: 27-28 Ye have
heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But
I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath
committed adultery with her already in his heart.
You
shall not murder. (Have you hated someone which is murder of the heart?)
1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know
that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
In God’s courtroom, our sins are very serious crimes. He will even judge our words and thoughts. This how serious sin is to God. If you have violated any of God’s laws, you will be guilty on Judgement Day. The penalty of sin is death and you will end up in a terrible place called Hell.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor
extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Your Hope
However,
the Bible says God is rich in mercy and in His great kindness He provided a
Saviour.
Jesus
Christ took the punishment for the sin of the world. He died on the cross so
that we could be forgiven, then He rose from the dead three days later and
defeated death. Hundreds saw Him after His resurrection. It's no fairy tale.
Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies about the promised Saviour, which are
written in the Holy Scriptures hundreds of years before His birth.
Romans 5:8,9 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Your Destiny
All
religions are man’s attempt to rid themselves of sin through religious rites,
traditions, and good works. Attending church can’t save you; only a
relationship with God through Jesus Christ. God doesn’t want you to go to hell.
Neither do you want to go there. To receive everlasting life, believe, repent and trust
in the Lord Jesus Christ alone to save you. God will forgive your sins and
grant you everlasting life. God will give you a new nature (Born-Again) and He
will walk with you through the Holy Spirit. Eternal life is a free gift. You
can’t earn it by doing anything. Then read the Bible daily and ask God to help you
obey what you read.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
John
1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of
God, even to them that believe on his name:

Our first priority in everything is to
thank God Almighty for the New Year 2024, and God’s grace for bringing us through
every tribulation and trial in every year. Thanking Him for all the miracles, blessings,
more outreaches, witnessing the gospel on the streets, the new gospel tract,
and to all those who prayed for us, especially our brothers and sisters in
Christ.
We have goals, plans, and priorities like
the importance of being in God’s word, praying, worshipping, fasting, to be led by the Holy Spirit especially for the work for
the Lord that we are called to do—winning souls for Christ. We should not
worry of anything because when we seek God first, trusting in Him that,
according to His will, everything will fall into place.
But seek ye first the kingdom of
God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew
6:33 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5,6 KJV
It is important to
value the days that God has given us. One way to obey God is to redeem the
time, to be led by the Holy Spirit, especially for the work of the Lord, and to
recognise the gift of our lives here on earth. Time—seconds, minutes, hours,
days, weeks, months, and years; the fact that we have the privileges of being
able to breathe, walk, talk, see, hear, taste, touch, and smell; and the gifts
that God has given us that we sometimes take for granted each and every day.
These blessings we have received freely from God Almighty.
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12 KJV
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15,16 KJV
How about you?
What is your priority in the new year? Before you write down your goals and
plans, maybe it would be better to examine yourself through the Ten
Commandments.
If you obsessively
want what somebody has, that makes you a covetous person (Luke 12:15).
If you bear false
witness, that makes you a liar (Proverbs 19:9).
If you stole
anything, regardless of its value, that makes you a thief (Exodus 20:15).
If you look at
someone with lust, that makes you an adulterer at heart (Matthew 5:27,28).
If you’ve admitted
that you’ve done those things mentioned above, then you’re covetous, a liar, a
thief, and an adulterer at heart. We've only looked at four of the Ten
Commandments. That’s how God sees you; nothing is hidden from His holy eyes.
You will be guilty before the presence of God and end up in His eternal prison,
a place called hell.
The eyes
of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9 KJV
Nobody can keep
the law (Ten Commandments), which is why Jesus Christ came not only to save us
from our sins but also to fulfil the law.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJV
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matthew 5:17 KJV
Repent and be sorry for who and what you are. Change your mind from the rejection of Jesus Christ to faith in Jesus Christ; believe alone in what He has done for you on the cross; through the death, burial and resurrection, recognize that He is indeed Lord and Saviour, and His holy and precious blood will cleanse you from all sins that you have committed.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:30,31 KJV

You will then be a new creature in Christ (born-again), filled with the Holy Spirit. Each day is a chance to turn the page on an old way of life and embrace a newness in Christ.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13 KJV
Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow; please prioritize the free gift of salvation today. This should be your number one goal to receive everlasting life.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

As we enter the Christmas season, when many people are
focused on giving and receiving gifts, we would like to tell you about the most
precious gift anyone could ever receive because of its eternal value. The Bible
says a virgin shall be with child, and He shall be called Jesus, for He shall
save His people from their sins.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 KJV
What does this really mean? Are we not good people? Do we really need someone to save us from our sins? To clearly understand what Christmas is about, we must try to look at ourselves the way God sees us, and the way we do that is examine ourselves by His Laws (Ten Commandments).
Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything,
regardless of its value? Have you ever used God's name in vain (as a cuss word)?
Have you ever hated someone? Have you ever looked at someone with lust?
If you tell a lie, that makes you a liar (Revelation 21:8). If you've stolen anything,
regardless of its value, that makes you a thief (Exodus
20:15). If you've used God's name in vain, you're a blasphemer (Exodus 20:7). If you hate someone, you're a murderer
at heart (1 John 3:15). If you've looked at a
person with lust, you're committing adultery in your heart (Matthew 5:27,28).
If you've answered yes to these five questions, by
your own admission, you're a liar, thief, blasphemer, murderer, and adulterer
at heart. We've only looked at five of the Ten Commandments; that's how God
sees you; nothing is hidden from His holy eyes.
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14
If God judges you by His standard, will you be innocent or guilty of breaking His laws (Ten Commandments)? Many people will admit to being guilty, but they may believe that God is good, that He forgives, and that He will overlook their sins. God is good, and because He is good, He will give a righteous judgment, or else He will be a corrupt judge.
Know ye not

You and I will be guilty when we stand before God, but God did something wonderful for us so that we wouldn’t have to go to hell. Do you know what that was? He sent His Son, Jesus Christ born of a virgin, perfect and sinless, to die for the payment of our sins on the cross, buried then He rose on the third day and defeated sin and death so that we could have everlasting life.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV
That’s why Jesus Christ was born—"to save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21) and suffer punishment in your place. God’s word says that if you repent of your sins, believe, put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the only one who can save you, then God will forgive you because Jesus precious blood shed on the cross is more than enough to cleanse you from all of your sins.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7 KJV
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7 KJV
Please don’t refuse this heavenly free gift of salvation from God, which is available to anyone: a love story written in blood on the cross over 2000 years ago. All glory to God for His incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Those who receive this incredible gift of salvation through God’s love, mercy, and grace will never suffer the eternal punishment in hell that they deserved.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 KJV

A sinner can only be made
right with God through faith in the substitutionary atonement through the death,
burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The sinless Saviour laid down His
life willingly, endured suffering, and died a horrendous death on the cross for
the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world, but only those who would repent
and believe the gospel would be justified. Justification is when God makes
sinners right in His sight when they believe and trust in Jesus Christ alone as
their Lord and Saviour Romans 3:21-28.
Justification means that
a believer is justified as if he or she never sinned in the sight of God. God
doesn't just forgive you; He does more than that; He justifies you as though
the sin has never been committed and that it was done by the precious blood of
Jesus Christ shed on the cross through faith alone in Him.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9 KJV
Justification is the imputation of the righteousness of Christ to the repentant sinner. The sinless Saviour went to the cross as a substitute for all of us by taking the punishment of all of our sins, and only those who have appropriated the atonement are made righteous or not guilty in God's sight.
For he
hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV
Justification is having peace with God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 KJV
Justification is when a condemned sinner who deserves eternal death is declared righteous in God's sight.
Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned:
That as
sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness
unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:12,21 KJV
The apostle Paul teaches that believers in Christ are not justified by their works but by God's grace and mercy.
Not by
works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved
us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5 KJV
Justification means that when you believe and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Saviour, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit and baptised into the body of Christ.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13 KJV
Jesus Christ completed the work required for our justification on the cross. He said, "It is finished." the last words He spoke before He died on the cross, meaning the debt of our sins has already been paid.
When
Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed
his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19:30
The moment you humble yourself, repent, and believe in what Jesus Christ has done for you on the cross, He laid down His life willingly so that you could be forgiven and defeated sin and death by His glorious resurrection. Only then are you justified, declared righteous or not guilty, and receive the free gift of salvation. You will then be filled with the Holy Spirit and born again (God will change you from within), and your place in heaven is prepared.
That
being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of
eternal life. Titus 3:7
We can only be justified by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ Alone, Scripture Alone, for the glory of God alone!
